Both apartments are on the third floor (served by a lift) of a characteristic building in the historical centre of Rome, just a short walk from Piazza di Spagna and some of the classiest boutiques and restaurants in the city.

By night, the Spanish Steps are littered with locals and tourists alike, whiling away the balmy evenings with music and good cheer when there’s not some form of entertainment already organised.

At the bottom of the staircase is Via Condotti, where Italy’s top designers all have their boutiques.

There’s also a little known gem called the Anglo-American bookshop nearby, as well as one of Rome’s top restaurants in Gusto, by the Mausoleum of Emperor Augustus.
